Biography

Bruce H. Brodkey has practiced law for 50 years, and shares his experience and legal talents with his partners and associates. He has taught many real estate and estate planning classes and seminars, including Advanced Real Estate Law and Keys to Success In A Real Estate Transaction. In 1997, he was named a Fellow by the Nebraska State Bar Foundation. Mr. Brodkey is admitted to practice in California, Nebraska, the U.S. Court of Appeals 8th Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska.

Mr. Brodkey has belonged to many professional associations, including the Nebraska State Bar Association, in which he served as a Member of the House of Delegates from 1977 - 1997. Mr. Brodkey was a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association Ways and Means Committee for several years in the late 1990's and also previously served as the vice chair of the Public Relations committee. He has been a longtime member of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys and the American Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Brodkey is a lifetime member of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation.

Mr. Brodkey was an attorney advisor to the City Charter Review Commission in the early 1980s. He has also given numerous speeches on advanced real estate planning and estate planning.

Mr. Brodkey graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of California and
earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley Boalt Hall School of Law.
